Travis MacPherson

Travis, along with his wife’s family, operate Baker Farms of Madoc. It is a 50 head purebred Charolais operation focusing on cattle that work in both rings. Travis is a graduate of Olds College with a Certificate in Meat Science. He has spent years working on beef operations in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Nebraska, and Ontario. Over the past 5 years, he worked as a crop and application advisor, helping growers successfully accomplish their goals.

During Travis’ spare time he enjoys exhibiting cattle across Canada from local shows to Agribition. As a graduate of the 4-H program, Travis enjoys giving back by working with juniors, either through providing a 4-H calf, speaking at 4-H meetings or judging and educating at Junior Livestock shows.
